Bowman Family Men's Soccer Scholarship
The Bowman Family Men’s Soccer Scholarship is designated for student athletes who are members of the Shepherd University men’s soccer team. This annually funded award was created by Todd and Tracey Bowman in 2021.
Boyle Family Football Scholarship
The Boyle Family Football Scholarship is designated for members of the Shepherd University football team. This annually funded award was created in 2014 by avid Shepherd Ram fans John and Lt. Col. Pam Boyle.
Boyle Family Lacrosse Scholarship
The Boyle Family Scholarship is designated in support of members of the Shepherd University Women's Lacrosse Team. This annually funded award was created by John and Pam Boyle.
Brianne Hamilton-Frazier Memorial Scholarship for Women’s Basketball
The Brianne Hamilton-Frazier Memorial Scholarship for Women’s Basketball was established in memory of Brianne Hamilton-Frazier ’05, a former women’s basketball standout and captain at Shepherd College. This scholarship, established by former coaches, teammates, and friends, will inspire student-athletes who will follow in her footsteps.
Bruce M. Van Wyk Scholarship
The Bruce M. Van Wyk Scholarship is designated as a general academic award. This endowment was created by Mr. Van Wyk, who passed away in 2003.
Business Administration Scholarship
The Business Administration Scholarship is designated for business administration majors, with preference given to WV residents.
C. Brown and Hazel M. Hendricks Scholarship
The C. Brown and Hazel M. Hendricks Scholarship is designated for students majoring in home economics and family life, or related fields such as psychology, arts and music. This endowment was established by Hazel Hendricks '34 to honor her and her husband's high regards for a Shepherd education, especially in the field of home economics.
C. Thomas Baxter Memorial Scholarship
The C. Thomas Baxter, Jr. Memorial Scholarship is a general academic scholarship created to honor the memory of Tom Baxter, Jr., who served as vice president for Administration and Finance at Shepherd College until his passing in 1998. This endowed fund was established to recognize his personal and professional support of the Foundation's mission to see that every qualified, deserving student has the opportunity to attend Shepherd.
Calvin and Dorothy Rutherford Kibler Memorial Scholarship
The Calvin H. and Dorothy Rutherford Kibler Memorial Scholarship is designated as a general academic award for incoming freshman from Berkeley County, WV. This endowment was established by the Kibler family with the intent to help outstanding Berkeley County, West Virginia residents.
Canadian Parliament Internship Program
The Canadian Parliament Internship is designated for the purpose of sending an intern selected from the honors department or political science department to Ottawa, ON, to participate in the workings of a parliamentary form of government. This annually funded award was created in 2007 by Dr. Mark Curley, a native Canadian and friend of Shepherd University.
