'83 & '84 Championships Baseball Scholarship

The '83 & '84 Championships Baseball Scholarship is designated for student athletes on the Shepherd University men's baseball team. This annually funded award was created in 2018 by members of the 1983 and 1984 men's baseball team who bonded as friends and teammates over one common goal: to win Shepherd’s first baseball championship. Together they achieved that goal and have continued to stay in touch and support each other as friends and teammates throughout the years. The group has chosen to carry on their legacy by creating this scholarship. Says teammate Craig Kershner '88, “Our new common goal as a team is to help student athletes who play baseball for Shepherd. It is our hope that these deserving students may create the same lasting bonds of friendship with their teammates as we did.”
