The Samuel O. Legreid Student Research Presentation Award is designated for undergraduate students whose student projects have been advised primarily by a faculty person or multiple faculty members in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. This annual fund was established in 2014 by Dr. Ann Legreid, dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, in loving memory of her father.
Sara Beth Chroussis Memorial Fund
The Sara Beth Chroussis Memorial Art fund is designated as program support for the Shepherd University art department. This endowment was created in 2007 after the passing of Sara Chroussis, a senior art student at Shepherd. Proceeds from annual student art sales go toward this fund.
Sarah Knutti Library Fund
The Sarah Knutti Library fund is designated as program support for Shepherd University's Scarborough Library. This endowment was established in memory of Sarah Knutti, daughter-in-law of former Shepherd president John Knutti. Sarah was a true believer of lifelong learning, studying ancient Greek at the age of 82.

The Scarborough Society of Shepherd University Fund is designated as program support for Shepherd University's Scarborough Library. This endowment was established by the Scarborough Society, a Friends of the Library organization created in 2002.
Scott Beard and Alan Gibson Endowed Scholarship for Music and Nursing
The Scott Beard and Alan Gibson Endowed Scholarship for Music and Nursing is designated for Shepherd University music majors, as well as students in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree program. This endowment was created in 2021 to honor Dr. Scott Beard, Shepherd University's provost and vice president for academic affairs. Efforts to establish the named fund were led by Alan Gibson, Dr. Beard's life partner of 31 years, with contributions from alumni, friends, colleagues, and students. The Shepherd community was shocked and saddened to learn of Dr. Beard's sudden and unexpected passing in March 2021. Dr. Beard was a full professor in Shepherd University’s School of Music, and as provost he was instrumental in instituting the D.N.P, Shepherd’s first doctoral program. Administrator, teacher, concert pianist, and friend, Dr. Beard’s passing left a heartbreaking void at Shepherd and within the greater community.
Scott Davis Memorial Scholarship
The Scott Davis Memorial Scholarship is designated for full time art education students. This endowed fund was established by Jeannette Bryant in memory of her brother. Scott taught art and history in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico before returning stateside to work at Mount St. Marys.
Servicemaster, Inc. Scholarship
The Servicemaster, Inc. Scholarship is designated as a general academic award. This endowed fund was established by ServiceMaster, Inc., which provides management services to Shepherd University for the housekeeping and facilities management departments.
