Shepherd University Faculty Senate Scholarship
The Shepherd University Faculty Senate Scholarship is a general academic award designated for dependents of full-time faculty at Shepherd University. This endowed fund was established in 2005.
Shepherd University Foundation Tours Scholarship
The Shepherd University Foundation Tours Scholarship is designated as a general academic award. This endowed fund was established in 2000 to provide scholarships from surplus funds generated through tours offered and organized by the Foundation.
Shepherd University South Branch Scholarship
The Shepherd University South Branch Scholarship is designated as a general academic award for students from Grant, Hampshire, Hardy, Mineral, and Pendleton Counties, WV. This endowed fund was created by Frances Dolloph.
Shirley Cooper Memorial Scholarship
The Shirley Cooper Memorial Scholarship is designated as a general academic award for Tucker County, WV students. This endowment was established in honor of Dr. Cooper for his work with the Tucker County Board of Education.
Spencer Family Dream Job Scholarship
The Spencer Family “Dream Job” Scholarship is designated for students pursuing a degree at Shepherd University and who have a vision of what their Dream Job would be after graduating from Shepherd. This scholarship honors Dr. Stephen Spencer who found his Dream Job as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Shepherd University in 2022 after a distinguished career in academia.
Stanley C. and Shirley A. Marinoff Endowment
The Stanley C. and Shirley A. Marinoff Endowment is designated as program support for the Contemporary American Theater Festival (CATF) and the Shepherd University theater department. This endowment was originally established in 2007 as a memorial to Shirley Marinoff's love of education and the arts by her family. In 2013, Stanley Marinoff made a legacy gift to the university - one reflected in the naming of the Stanley C. and Shirley A. Marinoff Theater in the second phase building of the Center for Creative Arts.
Stanley Manne Last Dollar Fund
The Stanley Manne Last Dollar Fund is designated for undergraduate students in good academic standing who need require assistance with tuition-related expenses in order to qualify for graduation. The award was established through a $40,000 donation from the Manne Family Foundation, a Chicago-based private independent organization that was founded in 1997 by Stanley Manne, a retired business executive.
Stanley O. Ikenberry Presidential Discretionary Fund
The Stanley O. Ikenberry Presidential Discretionary Fund is designated for general university support, as determined by Shepherd's president. This endowment was established by Dr. Stanley Ikenberry, son of former Shepherd president Oliver Ikenberry. Dr. Ikenberry himself was president of the University of Illinois from 1979-1995 and understands the importance of discretionary resources for university presidents.
Storer College Scholarship
The Storer College Scholarship is designated as a general academic award for students in good academic standing who exhibit financial need. This endowment was created by George King, II '73 and the Alumni of Storer College, a historically African-American college that operated from 1865 through 1955 in Harpers Ferry, WV.
Sue B. Reese Memorial Nursing Scholarship
The Sue B. Reese Memorial Nursing Scholarship is designated for students in the nursing programs at Shepherd University and Blue Ridge Community and Technical College. This endowment was created in memory of Sue Reese by her family.
