Business 2020 Initiative

In 2016 the Business 2020 Initiative, led by Ray Alvarez, Shepherd alumnus and former Shepherd University Board President, sought to raise $600,000 by 2020 to kick start the School of Business. Donors who gave the following amounts in the three established categories received the following benefits:

VISIONARY– Donors contributing $25,000 or more, either as a one-time contribution or pledge (up to five years)
PATRON– Donors contributing $5,000 or more, either as a one-time contribution or pledge (up to five years)
SUPPORTER– Donors contributing in any amount up to $5,000, either as a one-time contribution or pledge (up to five years)


In addition to having the personal satisfaction of being part of the program to create a School of Business for Shepherd University, the contributors are invited to the following functions to receive regular progress reports over the five period of 2016 – 2020:

Visionary:

Invited to 3 update meetings per year with Provost and Dean
Annual reception with President, Provost, and Dean for update on Business School progress, programs, and future goals

Patron:

Invited to 1 of the above 3 update meetings per year
Invited to above annual reception

Supporter:

Invited to above annual reception
