Scholar Spotlight with Savannah Garrett

We’re excited to have our Ram Fam back on campus for the Spring 2022 semester! This week our Scholar Spotlight is on Savannah Garrett, a sophomore from Capon Bridge, WV, majoring in business administration-marketing. Savannah is a recipient of the Joseph and William Byers Memorial Scholarship in support of education or business majors. The Byers are a legacy family, with several members having graduated from Shepherd.

“I am honored to be among the recipients of the Joseph and William Byers Memorial Scholarship,” said Savannah. “As a first generation college student, I have often considered how I would pay for my education. This scholarship is truly a blessing and is allowing me to continue my studies at Shepherd University.”
