This week’s Scholar Spotlight features elementary education major Maria Leppo. Maria is the recipient of the Catherine Dunlop Scholarship. Dr. David Dunlop, former president of Shepherd University, established this award in 2003 in honor of his wife.

“It is an honor to have received the Catherine Dunlop scholarship,” said Maria. “This scholarship will help ease the financial stress of college and will allow me to spend more time focusing on my studies to become an elementary teacher in the future.”
