The Scholar Spotlight this week shines on history major Kierstyn Williams. Kierstyn is the recipient of the Dr. Ruth Scarborough Scholarship. This fund was established to honor Dr. Ruth Scarborough, who taught and advised many students during her thirty years at Shepherd.

“Because I am not a traditional student, every penny makes a big difference and helped me get to this point,” said Kierstyn. “It means the world to me that people believe in me enough to help fund my education.”
