The Scholar Spotlight this week shines on nursing major Hanna Carlson. Hanna is the recipient of the Noah Jayce Washington Scholarship and the Leonard J. McCormack Endowment for Nursing.

“By receiving these scholarships, I have been able to pursue my nursing degree with more ease and less stress,” said Hanna. “Nursing school can definitely be a challenge, but knowing that you are receiving scholarships to reduce your financial burden makes things a lot less difficult. I am so grateful to have been chosen as a recipient by the Shepherd University Foundation. I will forever be thankful for the opportunities Shepherd has given me. Go Rams!”
