Scholar Spotlight with Autumn Conley
This week’s Scholar Spotlight features Autumn Conley, a junior environmental studies major from Centreville, MD. Autumn is the recipient of the Carl K. Rauch Scholarship for Science and Science Education. This scholarship was established by the late Carl K. Rauch ’58, a former professor of mathematics at Shepherd, in support of students pursuing studies in science or science education.
“Receiving the Carl K. Rauch Science Scholarship has allowed me to both further my education and strengthen my lifelong passion for the environment, conservation, and sustainability,” said Autumn. “I am so grateful for the opportunity to pursue a future in science and to one day use what I have learned to stir real world change.”
