Scholar Spotlight: Music Education Major Samuel Bower

Our featured scholar this week is Samuel Bower, a freshman from Middletown, MD, majoring in music education with a vocal concentration. Sam is the recipient of the James and Katherine Moler Scholarship. The couple both graduated from Shepherd in 1930 and Dr. Moler served with distinction as president of the Foundation for 25 years. “It has been an honor to receive such a coveted scholarship,” says Sam. “I plan on making excellent use of it.”
