Scholar Spotlight: Music Education Major Ryan McClure

Our final Scholar Spotlight of the year features Ryan McClure, a senior from Chambersburg, PA, majoring in music education. Ryan is the recipient of the Mary Jane Davis Scholarship in support of education students, as well as the Boyle Family Scholarship, which supports members of Shepherd’s marching band. “As a bassoonist and oboist, I’ve had many opportunities to serve the music department at Shepherd,” says Ryan, pictured here with his bassoon. “It’s very gratifying to see that my efforts are being noticed [through the award of these scholarships].”
