Scholar Spotlight: Biology Major Roosevelt Boh

This week’s featured scholar is freshman Roosevelt Boh of Hedgesville, WV. A biology major on a pre-med track, Roosevelt is the recipient of the Thomas and Sherry Lurry Memorial Scholarship. This endowment was established by Thomas M. Lurry, who left a bequest in his will specifying that the entirety of his estate be left to the Foundation for the purpose of establishing a scholarship that would assist deserving Shepherd students in furthering their education. Roosevelt calls his scholarship a blessing, saying, “Two words convey my feelings of emotion and gratitude: THANK YOU!”
