New Scholarship Established in Support of Art Education

The Art Education Endowed Scholarship was established by Thomas W. Miller in support of junior and senior students studying Art Education. Tom spent his career as a secondary art teacher and attended Shepherd as a senior citizen to take twenty visual arts classes over a ten-year period. He recognizes the importance of art education and the value of this career. Through the Art Education Endowed Scholarship, Tom will empower future generations of art educators at Shepherd University.
