New Amazon Program Enables Shoppers to Easily Donate to the Shepherd University Foundation

Smile! Now you can support the Foundation’s efforts to help deserving Shepherd students through Amazon’s new philanthropic program to raise funds for 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. Known as AmazonSmile, the program offers a simple and automatic way for its customers to support their favorite charitable organization every time they shop, at no cost to the customer – and the Foundation is listed among the registered organizations!

Tens of millions of products on AmazonSmile are eligible for donations; they will be clearly marked on their product detail pages. And signing up for AmazonSmile is simple: Using your Amazon account, go to smile.amazon.com, type “Shepherd University Foundation” into the search box in the bottom right corner, and click “Select” next to our name when it pops up in the list. Amazon will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make through the site will result in a 0.5% donation to the Foundation.
