Make Your Year End Gift Count!
The Foundation will be closed from December 24-January 4. If you would like to make a year-end gift, here are some key deadlines for 2025 (for tax year 2025):
- Stocks/Securities: Initiate transfers by Dec 20-23, 2025, as they take time to process.
- Wire Transfers: Initiate by Dec 27-28, 2025, as banks need processing time. Contact Sherri Janelle by Monday, December 22 at 304-876-5043 for wire transfer instructions.
- Credit/Debit Card Gifts: Must be completed by 11:59 PM, Dec 31, 2025 (date charged).
- Checks (Mail): Must be postmarked by Dec 31, 2025. Please make payable to the Shepherd University Foundation and send to the Foundation at P.O. Box 5000, Shepherdstown, WV 25443.
