James K. Wright, Jr. Endowed Fund to Support Shepherd Students

We are honored to recognize the legacy of Shepherd alumnus James K. Wright, Jr. ’70. The James K. Wright, Jr. Endowed Fund was initially established as a planned gift in 1999. Now, James’ generosity will persist to support future generations of Rams.
James was a longtime supporter of Shepherd. He, along with his wife Gladys, were members of the Joseph P. McMurran Society and supporters of the Scarborough Society and George Tyler Moore Center.
The James K. Wright, Jr. Endowed Fund is designated as general support for various academic programs at Shepherd University. This award will ensure that James’s spirit of community and compassion continue for years to come.
