The Shepherd University Gridiron Club has been asked by Dr. Mary J.C. Hendrix, Shepherd University President, to support the University’s efforts to replace the stadium artificial turf by the beginning of the 2019 season. The Club would make a $50,000 commitment with the intent to give $10,000 a year over a five year period in order to fulfill the commitment.
This initiative would be a separate donation that would not include a membership.
Gridiron would like to meet the $10,000 goal by June 15, 2018 and front load the account so as to not interfere with our normal fund raising efforts supporting the football program.
