Band on the Run! Campaign Successfully Raises Funds for Post-Season Travel

Thanks to the generous donations of dozens of supporters, the Shepherd University Foundation Band on the Run Campaign raised $4,515 dollars for the post-season travel expenses of the Shepherd University Ram Band. These gifts, which will be matched through a Shepherd Success Fund grant sponsored by Shepherd University President Mary J.C. Hendrix, completely covered the cost of the band’s travel to the November 23rd match up against Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

The 70-member strong Ram Band was a vital addition to the first-round football playoff game. Their presence, made possible through these gifts, served as a catalyst for the hard-fought victory.
