Allen and Sara Lueck Scoreboard

Ram Nation lost an ardent fan when Sara Lueck ’67 passed away on April 13th, 2023. To honor her legacy and dedication to Shepherd, the University intends to recognize Sara and her husband Allen Lueck ‘67 by replacing Ram Stadium’s scoreboard with the Allen and Sara Lueck Scoreboard.

Al and Sara both graduated from Shepherd University with the Class of 1967 and Al was a member and coach of the Shepherd Football Team. They were regularly found in the stands cheering on their beloved Rams. Al and Sara also helped found both the Shepherd University Athletic Club and the Ram Gridiron Club.

In 2003, Sara and Al received the Hall of Fame Medallion, and in 2013 they were named Alumni of the Year by the Shepherd University Alumni Association.
